Swimming pool and wellness

Inaugurated in 1972 and located in the rue du Parc, the Schifflange Sports Centre allows members of many sports associations to practise indoor sports, including handball, aquagym, ballet, jazz dance, Zumba and badminton.

The swimming pool, completely renovated in 2020, offers an exceptional setting for swimming enthusiasts. A 25 × 12.5 m main pool, a small paddling pool, a sauna area with a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a salisarium, a solarium, and in summer a lawn and a beach-volleyball court are available to water lovers. Pupils use this pool from the 3rd cycle onwards.

Swimming lessons for beginners as well as courses to perfect the various swimming styles, courses for the “LASEP” swimming children and aquagym courses are offered by our swimming instructors. In the entrance hall there is a refreshment bar (privately run) so that athletes and others can enjoy a treat and chat in a relaxed atmosphere.

Next to the pool, a bicycle rack and a car park ensure easy access to the facility.
