Red Rock Skatepark
As well as being the largest concrete skatepark in the southern region, it is also open all day and all night! In summer it is even lit until 10 p.m.
Construction work on this exceptional skatepark began on 15 May 2009, led by German specialist Matt Grabowski and his “Minus-Ramps” team. The members of the Red Rocks asbl association maintain, over an area of 1,700 m², countless modules such as a Poolcoping Pool (30%) with Clinton Keith Seat and Stairs, and a very large Street area (70%) with Hubbas, Ledges, Rails, Stairs, Elevators, Extensions, Rainbowcurb, Corners, Jersey, Curbs and Gaps.
The official inauguration of this project, funded by the municipal administrations of Esch-sur-Alzette and Schifflange, took place on 24 October 2009 in the presence of the authorities of both municipalities.
