Important information about the Luxembourg passport

On May, 8, 2026, no passport applications can be submitted or processed nationwide. This interruption is due to the introduction of the new Luxembourg passport, valid for 10 years, available from 11 May 2026.

If you urgently need a passport, we recommend submitting your application before 8 May or from 11 May.
