Can you imagine a summer without butterflies? As pollinators, they play an essential role in the pollination of many flowers and plants, including food crops. Unfortunately, they are increasingly threatened and need our protection.

Aktioun Päiperlek – Maacht mat! is a species‑protection campaign launched by Sicona and the National Museum of Natural History.

How can you contribute to documenting butterflies? It’s very simple:

• Download the iNaturalist app and create an account.
• Take a photo of the butterfly, identify it using this flyer, indicate the observation location and share it.

Each year, these data are analysed and the results are published afterwards.
