This weekend, the Municipality of Schifflange invited the newborns of 2025 and their families to its traditional tree-planting event. The event took place on the grounds of the Albert Wingert School, where thirteen trees and ninety native shrubs were planted as a symbolic gesture for all children born in 2025.

In 2025, 116 children were born in Schifflange and 30 families responded to the invitation to share a pleasant moment together. To round off the event, each family was able to take home a birdhouse to offer local birds a new place to nest.

Nature conservation is a cause close to the heart of the Municipality of Schifflange, which regularly involves residents in its initiatives. A warm thank you to everyone involved.
