Putting out your green bin seems simple. But are you sure everything inside truly belongs there?

So often, waste ends up in the bio bin that shouldn’t be there. This is why, in Schifflange, bins will now be checked and evaluated. A red card means that certain items were incorrectly disposed of. In that case, the bin will not be emptied.

Yet, it’s very straightforward: no plastic, no glass, no metal. Only biodegradable materials go into the green bin. Join in and sort right — for a cleaner municipality.

What is allowed in the bio bin — and what is not?
