On 23 April 2026, the cycle 3.2 class of teachers Tina Giannessi and Chantal Haas from the Lydie Schmit School visited Mayor Carlo Feiereisen to conduct an interview with him.

The pupils had prepared a series of questions — not only about his background, childhood and hobbies, but also about what motivated him to become mayor and about the development plans and future prospects for the municipality of Schifflange.

The children returned to school with many answers, big smiles, and a much clearer understanding of the role of the mayor.
