First Schëfflenger Kulturpräis

On 9 July, Schifflange’s cultural laureates were honoured at the SummerBar on Place Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. Residents were warmly invited to join the Municipality’s representatives in celebrating the laureates of the first Schëfflenger Kulturpräis.

During an interview, Mayor Carlo Feiereisen and Alderman Yves Marchi, President of the Culture Commission, explained how the idea for this first edition of the Schëfflenger Kulturpräis came about.

Among the many award recipients, Yvette Gastauer-Claire was presented with the Schifflange Art Prize.

Hosted by Kany Touré, the evening featured outstanding dance performances by Jill Crovisier and the Junior Company Luxembourg under the artistic direction of Marie-Laure Neiseler.

DJ Sanchez brought the event to a close with great music and a warm, festive atmosphere.
