The municipal officers / rural wardens of the municipality monitor vehicle parking, enforce the municipal police regulations of the Municipality of Schifflange, inspect the municipalities forests and public barbecue areas, as well as the terraces of cafés and restaurants. They may also carry out checks with dog owners to ensure that their dogs have been properly declared. They are furthermore responsible for monitoring illegally dumped waste on public roads within the municipality and in the woods.
