If you take up residence in our municipality or if you change your address within the municipal territory, you must update your personal details as soon as possible. To do so, you may either go to the Municipality’s One‑Stop Desk or complete the procedure yourself on MyGuichet.lu.
How to do it on MyGuichet.lu?
Log in to your MyGuichet.lu account
Select the section My data, then Citizenship
You can carry out and download the following requests directly from your computer or mobile phone:
Certificate of residence
Extended certificate of residence
Certificate of registration at a reference address
Registration on electoral lists as a non‑Luxembourgish resident
Some requests, listed below, may also be made by telephone (+352 54 50 61‑1) or by e‑mail (guichetunique@schifflange.lu). They can then be sent to your home by post:

For all other procedures, please go to the One‑Stop Desk located on the ground floor of the Town Hall.
Registering on the electoral lists as a non‑Luxembourgish resident
I register with the municipal administration
I go to the municipal administration of my place of residence from now until at the latest 55 days before election day, with a valid identity document (identity card or passport).
I present my identity card or passport to the officer of the Population Office.
I complete the declarations provided by the municipality (indicating nationality, place and date of birth, etc.). By registering on the electoral lists, I commit myself to participating in the elections.

Important: For arrival declarations, please present yourself no later than 30 minutes before closing time.
A death‑related on‑call service will only be ensured in the following cases:
If a public holiday falls on a Friday, the on‑call service will be ensured the following Saturday from 10:00 – 12:00.
If a public holiday falls on a Monday, the on‑call service will be ensured on Monday from 10:00 – 12:00.
